Zoolander Calls 911

We had a situation where the police showed up at the East Bay SPCA in Tri-Valley responding to a call made to 911. Asking around we couldn't figure out how this call could have been made as we didn't have an emergency situation.

Looking into it further, it may be the result of Zoolander, our Shelter Cat, stepping on a speed dial button, which summoned the police.

Zoolander has an emergency to report! He's trying his best to get outta here! Zoolander has been with the East Bay SPCA for almost a full year, come March. He has spent time at both of our adoption facilities and is still waiting for his forever home. He is our Shelter Cat, which means he gets to spend his time in our office, greeting volunteers, staff and shelter dogs as they come through to say hello.

Zoolander is a wonderful kitty, come and meet him at our shelter in Dublin.

I have the Mad Love for Zoo. He's one of my favorite cats there. I'm trying to convince a co-worker to adopt him, but she claims Busy Momness. I am sorry he's still in the shelter - he's so great with kids. But, I'm glad he's got room to walk around in the office - he's so huge. Give him a scritchy for me and tell him to keep his big paws off the phone ^_^

Good luck Zoo! You've got the Blue--er Green--Steel look down pat! Hope someone appreciates your wonderfulness soon.
Great to have the blog back! I've missed the entries. And Destiny's back?! Poor baby!

Poor Zoolander still there after so long. But calling 911, shame on him, that's tax payer dollars at work! Isn't there some way the SPCA could lock the phone or is 3 numbers really necessary to speed dial. Don't you have to hit dial or something to even access speed dial? Weird.

Zoo-Zoo is such a funny cat! I'm glad that someone put up a blog, it's been boring around here lately. Keep it up!

What a fabulous cat.

I am so glad you started posting on this site again--I love your animal stories.

The latest: Zoolander's steady diet paid off and he found a home!!
