Quick picture update

I wanted to post some pictures of the kittens Frances posted earlier. I took them more than a week ago but I haven't gotten around to it. They are now adopted after a relatively long stay in our care (for kittens).

This is Alex. She loves to drop toys by your feet (look at the bottom of the picture) to get you to play with her. She is so silly.

I worked our Adopt-a-thon at both our Tri-Valley (July 28th) and Oakland (July 29th) locations this year. Unfortunately, I was too busy to stop and take any pictures of the fun. At the end of the day in Oakland though, I managed to spot Crank. Crank is our resident feral cat. She is not too interested in people, but she has been well taken care of. She stays on the Oakland property so that she is not in danger.

I have not seen Miss Cranks lately, so the picture made me smile. She's a beautiful kitty and looks great in that photo.

Gorgeous photo of the elusive Crank , yes....Great job .

Cranks is actually pretty brave. She ran by a bunch of people at the Adoptathon. I know I can often find her hanging out by the trailers (what's in those things, by the way?), and she will let you come to a certain distance away from her.

Heh. I don't dare venture a guess ...or look...at what's in those things...but you're right about Crank . I've taken food out to her and she's been there...occassionally....to give me "the eye"....until I leave her territory . :::laughs::: She deserves to have a space to call her own after all she's been through...and she's got a good life at the EBSPCA.
